New Netflix shows and movies coming in September 2022 – Netflix Life

As summer comes to an end and fall approaches, there are so many new Netflix shows and movies to look forward to this September.
While it’s not the buzziest month for Netflix compared to past months, which included titles such as Stranger Things and Virgin River (among many other huge releases), there’s plenty of great must-watch Netflix original movies and shows to keep us entertained.
From the latest seasons of Cobra Kai and Fate: The Winx Saga to the highly anticipated new movies Do Revenge and Blonde, there’s so much to look forward to.
Before jumping into the new Netflix shows we’ll all be binge-watching throughout September, let’s talk about some of the biggest movies coming throughout the month starring Kat Graham, Maya Hawke, Camila Mendes, and Ana de Armas.

Release Date: Sept. 1
The Vampire Diaries star Kat Graham and The Umbrella Academy star Tom Hopper join forces for the romantic comedy Love in the Villa. When a newly single woman takes a trip to Verona, Italy, she discovers the villa she reserved was somehow doubled booked with a handsome British man. There have been worse setbacks! Check out the rom-com at the top of the month.

Release Date: Sept. 16
Stranger Things star Maya Hawke and Riverdale star Camila Mendes team up in the dark teen comedy Do Revenge as Eleanor and Drea (respectively), It girls with a bone to pick with their tormenters. The film comes from Jennifer Kaytin Robinson, the writer-director of hit Netflix romantic comedy Someone Great, and makes its premiere on Sept. 16.

Release Date: Sept. 28
Perhaps the one of the most anticipated Netflix movies of the year, Ana de Armas stars as Hollywood icon Marilyn Monroe in Andrew Dominik’s adaptation of Joyce Carol Oates’ biographical fiction novel Blonde. The film has grabbed headlines for its rare NC-17 rating, but it’s sure to earn so much praise for its leading star when it premieres on Sept. 28.
Along with the exciting Netflix movies coming in September, there are so many new Netflix shows headed for our watch lists that will have everyone talking. New seasons of established hits return with new episodes, but a brand-new limited series will surely heat up the start of fall.

Release Date: Sept. 9
The hit comedy-drama series Cobra Kai returns for its fifth season on Sept. 9, and fans will be so excited to catch the latest batch of episodes. Following the events of season 4, the story continues in the aftermath of the All Valley Tournament. Don’t miss a minute of the new season when it starts streaming in September.

Release Date: Sept. 2
Emily Deschanel makes her return to television after the end of Bones in 2017 in the Netflix limited series Devil in Ohio. Based on the novel of the same name, the eight-episode limited series is the suspense thriller that will start September off right with a fright. Add Deschanel’s new series to your watch list for Labor Day weekend.

Release Date: Sept. 16
Following its premiere in February 2021, Fate: The Winx Saga is finally back with its second season on Sept. 16. While the first season consisted of six episodes, the follow-up season of the supernatural teen drama with have eight episodes. There’s more to love of the fan-favorite series when it makes its comeback in the lead up to spooky season!
