Phil Mickelson has been involved in a lawsuit defending Claude Harmon III after a golf coach’s comments about TV Channel Golf host Brandel Chamblee. Harmon III blasted Chamblee after the latter made known his stance on banning the LIV Golfers to the American Ryder Cup team.

Mickelson is no stranger to voicing his opinions on Twitter, and his endorsement of Harmon III is just the latest from the legendary professional golfer.

He quoted-tweeted a link to a Golfweek article about the whole situation.

“CH3 (Claude Harmon lll) is amazing. His father was too and should be in the Hall of Fame already. Great read. He holds nothing back, just like his father,” he tweeted.

All this discussion stems from Brooks Koepka winning the PGA Championship. He became the first LIV Golf Tour player to win a major. After winning, Chamblee and Brad Faxon had a lengthy discussion on Golf Channel about whether Koepka should be in the Ryder Cup team.

Mickelson’s comments have little to do with the whole situation, but anyone can read between the lines. Harmon III isn’t usually in the news cycle, so screaming at him at this point is obvious.

Mickelson is one of many big name players who left the PGA Tour last year for LIV Golf. Since the start of the tour, there has been a lot of backlash against Lefty, Koepka and others.
