Actress Kate Winslet has been taking a year off since her role in ” Mare of Easttown “. Speaking to Variety in honor of International Women’s Day, Winslet opened up about why she took a year off from acting.

“I took time off last year to be with my family and to recover from the Mare of Easttown,” he said. “It was great to get a bit of a reset. But I love my job, and I’m totally ready to dive back into it.”
“For an actor, nothing is more thrilling than being in a room with another actor. I crave that again,” he continued. “But I’ve got a lot going on this year, so I’m excited to get started.”
Winslet also expressed her excitement in particular about her upcoming film Lee, which is currently in pre-production. She will star alongside Jude Law , Marion Cotillard , Josh O’Connor , and Andrea Riseborough in a project about fashion model-turned-World War II correspondent Elizabeth ‘ Lee ‘ Miller.
Winslet has become a recognized actress in the film industry since her role as Rose in ” Titanic ” in 1997. Although this was not her first acting role, “Titanic” went on to become an iconic classic that made Winslet and her co-star Leonardo DiCaprio stars.
