Wednesday (3/8), Label SJ Released A Statement Through Their Official Social Media, Announcing About Siwon’s Condition. The Agency Also Revealed That Siwon Would Be Self-Quarantining.
The latest news comes from Super Junior ‘s Choi Siwon , who recently tested positive for COVID-19. Because of this, the singer and actor who debuted in 2005 was forced to miss the upcoming Super Junior concert.
On this day, Wednesday (3/8), Super Junior’s agency, Label SJ released a statement through their official social media, announcing about Siwon’s condition. The agency also revealed that Siwon would be self-quarantining.
“Hello, this is Label SJ. We inform you about Super Junior’s Siwon who tested positive for COVID-19. Siwon again got a positive result on the morning of August 3 through a PCR test that he did while preparing for his schedule of activities abroad,” said Label SJ. .
The agency then asked fans for understanding that Siwon was forced to be unable to attend the upcoming “Super Junior World Tour – Super Show 9: Road in Manila” concert. The concert is scheduled to be held this week.
“Siwon has currently stopped all scheduled activities, and he is self-quarantining in accordance with government health guidelines. The agency will consider the artist’s health and safety first, and we will wholeheartedly support Siwon’s speedy recovery. Thank you,” they continued.
Meanwhile, Super Junior recently made a comeback with their 11th full album, “The Road: Keep on Going” with the title track “Mango” last month. Previously, Choi Siwon tested positive for COVID-19 for the first time in December 2021. After recovering, he took to Twitter to share his return and thank the medical staff.
