Directed and written by debutante Hemanthkumar, Kaari is an upcoming Tamil action thriller film. The movie’s title, Kaari, is named after the gods Ayyanar and Karuppasamy, who are considered to be the epitome of courage.
The film’s shoot was wrapped up in mid-2022. It has music by D. Imman, cinematography by Ganesh Chandira, and editing by Siva Nandeeswaran. The men behind the film’s stunt choreography are Anbariv, Stunt Silva, and Dinesh Subbarayan.

This mass-action entertainer stars M. Sasikumar in the lead role. He is best known for his work in the 2008 period action film Subramaniapuram, and his most recent release is the S.R. Prabhakaran directorial Kombu Vatcha Singamda.
Along with Kaari, M. Sasikumar has movies like Pagaivanuku Arulvai in the pipieline for the next year. Actress Parvathi Arun, known for her work in critically acclaimed Malayalam movies like Chembarathipoo and 21 Am Noottaandu. Aside from this, she has also worked in Kannada and Telugu movies as well.
JD Chakravarthy is playing the main antagonist in the film, with Balaji Shaktivel, Aadukalam Naren, Ammu Abhirami, Redin Kingsley, Naagi Needu, Ramkumar, and Samyuktha in the key roles.
Produced by S. Lakshman Kumar under the banner of Prince Pictures, the film has finally gotten a release date. Now, it is confirmed that the action thriller will hit the big screen on November 25, 2022. The team revealed the release date on Diwali.

The film’s trailer was launched by ace filmmaker Lokesh Kangaraja on June 17, 2022, and it garnered an immense response from fans. It crossed 2 million in just 2 days. The trailer gives us a glimpse of some high-octane action sequences as well as the romance between Sasikumar and Parvathy.
