It’s a great time to be a fan of DC Comics, with plenty of DC films set to be released after The Suicide Squad.

With Matt Reeves directing and Robert Pattinson will playing the role of Bruce Wayne/Batman, fans can wait with excitement for spring 2022. (Read more)
This animated film is different, as it’s being sold as a summer film with the hope of attracting audiences and not going straight to DVD or on-demand. Kevin Hard will play the voice of Ace the Bat-Hound, while Dwayne Johnson will star as Krypto the Superdog. Keanu Reeves, Natasha Lyonne, John Krasinski, Kate McKinnon, Vanessa Bayer, Jameela Jamil, and Diego Luna will all be part of the voice cast. (Read more)

A character that was originally portrayed in Batman & Robin in 1997 is returning exclusively on HBO Max, directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, with Leslie Grace officially cast as Barbara Gordon.
Another exclusive to HBO Max alongside Batgirl. His powers come from an alien scarab that’s attached to his spine, but it remains to be seen if other superheroes will appear.
This has been in development for years now, but the right actress has finally been found in Sasha Calle, so things should move along nicely.
Having been announced as far back as 2014, it is yet to be released. Scripts have been ordered from countless writers, but it’s still no sign of when it’ll come out.
This is another that as been in the works for a long time, but things are starting to progress now and it should be released by the end of 2023 at the latest. Emerald Fennell is writing the script.
Static Shock was announced at DC FanDome in 2020, with Michael B. Jordan and Reginald Hudlin producing. The script is currently being written by Randy McKinnon.
There are plenty more films as well – Wonder Woman 3, The Amazons, Blackhawk, Hourman, Joker 2, Superman Reboot, and Justice League Dark that are yet to come.
