Tamil Movies to release in November 2022 – Full List | Pick your choices! – galatta.com

2022 has been a massive year. It has seen some of the biggest releases of all time like Valimai, Beast, KGF: Chapter 2, RRR, Vikram, Ponniyin Selvan, etc. With the year coming to an end in just two more months, that gives us an 8 week window to experience all the unreleased films of 2022. Since the month of November is just a few days away, we thought it would be fun to look at the releases lined up across the 4 weeks that it has got. Therefore, here is the list of all the major November releases that might prove to be a great theatrical watch. 
NOVEMBER 4:
1) LOVE TODAY:

Written and directed by Pradeep Ranganathan, and produced by Kalpathi S.Aghoram, Kalpathi S.Ganesh, and Kalpathi S.Suresh under the banner of  AGS Entertainment, this romantic comedy film follows two young lovers who are made to exchange their phones for a day under the order of one of their fathers. What happens as a result of that forms the crux of the story. The film stars Radhika Sarathkumar, Sathyaraj, and Ivana of Hero fame in important roles. The film is expected to fare well at the box office, considering its interesting premise, mainly catered at the youth.  
2)  NITHAM ORU VAANAM:

Written and directed by Ra. Karthik in his directorial debut and bankrolled by Viacom18 Studios and Rise East Entertainment, this romantic drama stars Ashok Selvan, Ritu Varma, Aparna Balamurali, and Shivathmika Rajashekar in lead roles. Ashok Selvan will be seen in three completely different avatars and audiences cannot wait to have a taste of that. Nitham Oru Vaanam will be a slice of life feel good romantic drama. 
3) COFFEE WITH KAADHAL:

Written and directed by Sundar C. and produced by Khushbu, A. C. S. Arun Kumar and A. C. Shanmugam under the banner of Avni Cinemax and Benzz Media Pvt. Ltd., this romantic comedy family drama will star Jiiva, Jai, Srikanth, Dhivyadharshini with Malvika Sharma (in her Tamil film debut), Amritha Aiyer, Raiza Wilson, Aishwarya Dutta, and, Samyuktha Shanmuganathan in prominent roles. This film is expected to be quite different from the regular pattern of Sundar C movies. 
4) BANARAS (Kannada):

Written and directed by Jayatheertha and produced by Tilakraj Ballal, the film will serve as a moving love story set in the back drop of Kashi. The stars Zaid Khan and Sonal Monteiro in the lead roles. The film will have a dubbed release in Tamil.
NOVEMBER 11
1) YASHODA (Bilingual- Tamil and Telugu):

Written and directed by filmmaking duo Hari Shankar and Harish Narayan and produced by Sridevi Movies, the film will star Samantha as the titular character alongside Unni Mukundan and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in prominent roles. The film will tell the tale of Yashoda, a pregnant woman, who is advised to follow a few guidelines about her physical and mental well-being and safety. However, a set of events occur that makes Yashoda live on the edge and risk her well-being. The film will also touch upon the topic of surrogacy and surrogate mothers.
2) DRIVER JAMUNA:

Written and directed by P. Kinslin and produced by S .P. Chowthari under the banner of 18 reels, the film follows Jamuna, a woman taxi driver living near the outskirts of Chennai faces who one day faces unexpected situations during a trip. What happens while she attempts to safeguard herself forms the crux of the story. The film stars Aishwarya Rajesh in the titular role with Aadukalam Naren and Sriranjani. Driver Jamuna is believed to be an edge of the seat thriller. 
3) PAROLE:

Written and directed by Dwarakh Raja and bankrolled under Tripr Entertainment, the film will follow the lives of two brothers Kovalan and Karikalan. While Karikalan is in jail for the crimes he has committed, his mother passes away during his prison times. Whether Karikalan comes out of jail on Parole for the last rites and whether or not the divided brothers come together forms the crux of the story. The film stars Linga, R. S. Karthik, Kalpika Ganesh, and Monisha Murali in the lead roles.
4) MIRAL:

Written and directed by M. Sakthivel and produced by M. Dilli Raju under the banner of Axess Film Factory, the drama thriller film stars Bharath, Vani Bhojan, KS Ravikumar, Meerakrishnan, Rajkumar, Kaavya Arivumani. Miral is expected to be a riveting thriller that will keep the audience hooked to their seats with its thrill elements. 
NOVEMBER 18:
With only release on the 3rd week of November (as of now) and being a web series too instead of a movie, FIVE SIX SEVEN EIGHT is created by A. L. Vijay of Thalaivi and Thalaiva fame.

This ecstatic series will follow two groups of teenagers from two extremes of life and divided by circumstances who are in a battle for being the alpha dog when it comes to dancing. This riveting series gives a vibe a lot like 2013's dance drama film ABCD: Any Body Can Dance starring Prabhu Deva. 
NOVEMBER 25:
1) KAARI:

Written and directed by Hemanth and produced by S. Lakshman Kumar under the banner of Prince Pictures, the film will feature M. Sasikumar, Ammu Abirami, and Balaji Mohan as its lead characters. More details on the film is expected to be known soon. 
 
2) AGENT KANNAYIRAM:
Directed by Manoj Beedha who co-wrote the film with Ramesh Marabu, the film is produced by Manoj himself under Labyrinth Films. This detective comedy thriller stars Santhanam and Riya Suman with a supporting cast including Sruthi Hariharan, Munishkanth, and Redin Kingsley. The film is a remake of the 2019 Telugu film Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya. The film will tell the story of a detective whose life runs into danger when he starts investigating the case of a dead body abandoned near a railway track.

DATE NOT FINALIZED:
1) KICK (Bilingual- Tamil and Kannada):

Written and directed by Prashant Raj and bankrolled by Naveen Raja under the banner Fortune Films, this romantic drama will star Santhanam and Tanya Hope in the main lead with Brahmanandam in an important role. 
2) KALAGA THALAIVAN:

This upcoming film is directed by Magizh Thirumeni and produced under Red Giant Movies. It will feature Udhayanidhi Stalin and Nidhhi Agerwal as its lead characters. The film is expected to bring out the actor inside Udhayanidhi with conviction and the recently released teaser of the film looked highly promising. The exact release date is yet to be formally announced by the makers. 
3) NAAI SEKAR RETURNS:

Naai Sekar Returns is a dark comedy produced by Subaskaran Allirajah for Lyca Productions and written and directed by Suraaj. The film stars Vadivelu in his comeback film after five long years and is a spin-off of Vadivelu's character in Suraj's 2006 film Thalai Nagaram. The fans are eagerly looking forward to this film as everyone would get to see the much-loved Vaigaipuyal on the big screen after a very long time and let us hope that the film satisfies the expectations.
