The Miami Heat knocked the Boston Celtics out of the gym in the Eastern Conference Finals with a back-up around star Jimmy Butler’s wing who was made up mostly of unregistered players who play like All-Stars now. One of the breakout stars of the Heat’s playoffs was Gabe Vincent, a 26-year-old guard who had never averaged double-digit points in his career but was suddenly Miami’s third-leading scorer in the postseason.

Vincent bounced back for Miami as the Heat beat the Celtics, 128-102, in Game 3 to take a 3-0 series lead. Vincent finished with a game-high 29 points on 11 of 14 shooting from the field, including 6 of 9 from three. His big performance earned him a post-game interview with TNT after the win, and it resulted in a hilarious moment with commentator Charles Barkley.

When Vincent praised the Celtics after the Miami loss, Barkley told him he definitely wasn’t watching the game he was playing. Watch the clip here:

“They’re a very good team,” Vincent said of the Celtics in a post-game interview. “They are a well-trained team. They got stars. They will not lie down.”

Barkley couldn’t let those comments slide.

“Talking about being well trained and not lying down? Look at that tape again.”

The Celtics are lying down now. Boston lost both games of the series at home to the No. 1 seed. will be the next victim in Miami’s incredible run to the NBA Finals.

We love the TNT crew for their honesty, and this is a great example. Yes, Vincent took the high road by complimenting his opponent, but Barkley knows the real truth about the Celtics, and he’s not afraid to tell it.
