Hwang Jin-seong played 279 K-League games for Pohang from 2003 to 2013, scoring 47 goals and 58 assists.
Holding the record for the most offensive points (105) in the team’s career, he was nicknamed ‘Hwang Kaka’ and was loved by fans.
From 2004 to 2016, Shin Hwa-yong defended Pohang’s goal in 287 league games.He holds records such as the most appearances in the club’s goalkeeper career and the most scoreless games (94 games).
Hwang Ji-soo is a ‘one-club man’ who only played professionally in Pohang from 2004 to 2017.
With 6 goals and 12 assists in 320 K-League games, he is working as the coach of the Pohang U-18 team.
Pohang will set the K League 1 Round 15 home match against Jeonbuk Hyundai at Steel Yard at 4:30 pm on the 29th as a match to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the foundation, and will invite Hall of Fame inductees to hold a dedication ceremony before the game.
