(Seoul = Yonhap News) Reporter Han Nam-jik = Professional volleyball men’s KB Insurance and Woori Card conducted a one-on-one trade to exchange outside heater Han Seong-jeong (26) and setter Hwang Seung-bin (30).
The two clubs disclosed the details of the trade on the 25th.
Han Seong-jeong, who transferred to KB Insurance on December 26, 2021, returns to Woori Card, where she started her professional life after 1 year and 6 months.
Han Seong-jeong joined Woori Card with the first pick in the first round of the 2017-2018 draft. He was KB Insurance’s second team, and ahead of the 2022-2023 season, he signed with KB Insurance as a free agent (FA).
However, KB Insurance, which was worried about the enlistment of the main setter Hwang Taek-ui, used Han Seong-jeong as a trade card to recruit the setter.
KB Insurance recruited Na Kyung-bok from the free agent market, even though he is serving in the military, and signed a contract with Hwang Kyung-min to remain as a free agent. In the Asian Quarter Draft, outside hitter Liu Hong-min (Taiwan) was nominated, so resources for wing strikers are relatively abundant.

Hwang Seung-bin was nominated by Korean Air as the 5th pick in the 1st round of the 2014-2015 rookie draft, and transferred to KB Insurance through Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance and Woori Card.KB Insurance is Seungbin Hwang’s fourth team.
Woori Card, who lost Na Kyung-bok, recruited Han Seong-jeong to reinforce the outside heater.
KB Insurance coach Hu In-jeong and Woori Card coach Shin Young-cheol said, “We made a trade to strengthen our position in the 2023-2024 season.” “Thank you to the players who have dedicated themselves to the team so far. I look forward to it,” he said.
