This political action thriller film has been penned and directed by Liju Krishna. Sunny Wayne Productions together with Yoodlee Films have come onboard as producers. Maloor in Kannur, which happens to be the native village of Liju Krishna, is where most of the film was shot. Interestingly, around 1000 villagers were trained through an acting crash course, especially for this movie. In terms of a story, this is a coming of age drama, which highlights the constant struggles of the ordinary man, who belongs to a repressed section of society always trying to get a unique identity and forge a rightful place in a world for all. This movie is the directorial venture of Anjali Menon, and has been produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Ashi Dua Sara. It has been dubbed in most major South Indian languages. The story follows a bunch of pregnant women, who all catch up at a prenatal class. Each has their own inspiring story and special identity. The teacher who conducts the class has been essayed by Nadiya Moidu. Her class is called “Sumana”, and Moidu’s character calls these women “real superheroes” as they get ready for motherhood. In an attempt to discover their new life, they find their true identity and solutions to some deep rooted problems. This movie has received positive reviews from audiences and critics alike and its interesting storyline is sure to make you fall in love with it.

This Malayalam mythological fantasy film has been directed and written by NIrmal Sahadev. Jakes Bejoy, Nirmal Sahadev, Giju John and Sreejith Sarang have produced this movie under the Fresh Lime Sodas banner. Mridhula Pinapala, Priyanka Joseph and Aishwarya Lekshmi have come on-board as co-producers. The story is about the life of Kumar, a young and relatively inexperienced girl who is wedded off to a man in Kanhirangat, a village pretty far from her home. Arriving at this new village, Kumari finds that the people hold tradition and power so dear to their heart, that they’re willing to die. This movie received positive reviews after the audiences watched it in theatres, and now you can catch this movie on an OTT platform.

This is a political drama, full of twists and turns. Kerala’s CM, Achuthan Nair, and his Leftist Party, are getting ready for their 3rd straight term in the Kerala Assembly. Simultaneously, the higher ups want a young face for the party. The opposition is under pressure – they need a person for the CM’s post for the elections on the horizon. The higher ups in Delhi suggest the name of DAvid John Medayil, a wealthy politician and businessman. Achuthan Nair has been in power for the past decade and established politicians want to take him down. Roughly translated into “Psychological Test”, this neo-noir psychological supernatural action thriller movie is the directorial venture of Nissam Basheer, with Mammootty under his banner Mammootty Kampany has acted as producer. Midhun Mukundan has done the music while cinematography has been taken care of by Nimish Ravi. The story follows the main character Luke Anthony, who comes to a small village in search of his missing wife Sophia. While travelling the countryside, Sophia vanished and now she might be somewhere in the forest nearby. With the challenges mounting, will Mammootty be able to find her? Expect lots of hair-raising moments and scary sequences when you watch this movie.

This satire comedy has been written by Rubesh Rain and directed by Jibu Jacob. Dr Roy CJ and Thomas Thiruvalla, under the banners of Confident Group, and Thomas Thiruvalla films, have come onboard as producers. The story follows the life of lance naik Muhammed Moosa, a soldier of the Indian Army, who returns to his Kerala hometown after spending close to 2 decades in a Pakistani jail. Returning home, realisation hits him that the whole world has written him off for dead, during the Kargil war. Moosa then starts the painful process of proving his identity while simultaneously coming to terms with things that have occurred around him while he spent time behind bars.

This epic historical action drama film has been directed by Mani Ratnam, who along with Elango Kumaravel and B Jeyamohan, has penned the script. This movie is the first of two cinematic parts based on the 1955 novel by Kalki Krishnamurthy, called Ponniyin Selvan. A.R Rahman has done the music, Ravi Varman has taken care of cinematography, editing has been done by A Sreekar Prasad, while Thota Tharani has taken care of production design. The story itself is set in ancient times, and depicts the life of famous Chola prince Arulmozhi Varman, who would later become the famous emperor Rajaraja.
