The Telugu horror drama, “Masooda” is doing very well at the box office. The film completed the break-even mark in its first weekend itself emerging as the 17th clean hit Telugu film of 2022.
It has been raining hits at the box office in Telugu once again, after Yashoda, Masooda has emerged as a commercial success at the box office. And all eyes will now be on Sudheer starrer Gaalodu, which is inching closer to completing the break-even target to become the third consecutive hit this month in Telugu.

As per the Telugu trade reports, the theatrical rights of the movie were sold at 1.3 Cr and the break-even target was set at Rs 1.50 Cr which it crossed in its 1st weekend itself.
The film took a start of 75L gross in Telugu states, it minted Rs 92L gross on the second with a growth of 30%. The horror drama again showed a growth of 35-40% for a 1.48 Cr gross on Sunday.
The 1st weekend Telugu box office collection stands at 3.15 Cr gross with 1.70 Cr shares. It churned out 1.80 Cr shares at the box office worldwide acquiring the clean hit tag and currently is in the profit of 30L.
Going by the trends, Sudheer starrer will stay stable on its first Monday (day 4). As per the early estimations, Masooda will collect another 70-75L gross on Mon to take the total earnings in the vicinity of 4 Cr gross in the home market.

Masooda was out in theatres on Nov 18, 2022. The film was certified “A” by the censor board with an approved runtime of 2hr 40min or 160mins. The film has 9.2 out of 10 ratings on BookMyShow with 5.2K reviews. It has been receiving praise from critics and the audience alike.
It is headlined by Sangeetha Krish and Thiruveer, the film also has Kavya Kalyanram, Subhalekha Sudhakar, and Saurabh Prabhavathi among others.
