Love Today, the Tamil language film released in the theatres just last week. Netflix, the online streaming platform, is on an absolute roll. Recently the platform started streaming the 5th season of The Crown; apart from the series, the OTT platform has an interesting lineup. From actor Chiranjeevi’s Godfather to the Telugu film Urvasivo Rakshasivo, to the web series Khakee: The Bihar Chapter, Netflix is gearing up to keep the viewers hooked. Love Today is the next theatrical release that has locked the OTT platform Netflix as its streaming platform.

Love Today is an out-and-out romantic comedy-drama film. The movie’s trailer on YouTube has quite a lot of views, and it is working well with the theatre-going audience too.
The movie stars Pradeep Ranganathan, Ivana, Raveena Ravi, Sathyaraj and Radhika Sarathkumar portraying pivotal characters. Yogi Babu, Yogi Babu, Finally Bharath, Adithya Kathir, Aajeedh Khalique, Gurubaai, Vijay Varadaraj, Akshaya Udayakumar, Shivin Ganeshan, and Azhaar Ateef also star in Love Today.  Kalpathi S. Aghoram, Kalpathi S. Ganesh, Kalpathi S. Suresh are the producers of the film. The production banner of the movie is  AGS Entertainment. Apart from playing the lead role Pradeep Ranganathan is also the writer and director of Love Today.

Love Today, the 2022 comedy romantic drama film, is based on the short film App(a) Lock by Pradeep Ranganathan. The movie revolves around Uthaman Pradeep (Pradeep Ranganathan) and Nikitha (Ivana), are colleagues who are in love. When Uthaman Pradeep meets Nikitha’s father, Venu Shastri (Sathyaraj), he puts forth a strange condition to accept their relationship. He asks Pradeep and Nikitha to exchange their phones for a day. And once that happens, fun chaos unfolds, the phones are unlocked, and Pradeep and Nikitha unlock each other’s secrets, from secret admirers to browsing history, and more everything is known.
