MGM and EON are re-releasing No Time to Die in IMAX nationwide on 21st January 2022 to celebrate the 60th anniversary of James Bond in 2022.

An exclusive Q&A event featuring Daniel Craig, director Cary Joji Fukunaga, and producers Michael G Wilson and Barbara Broccoli will be broadcast ahead of the film at select IMAX screenings.

No Time to Die is the first Bond film to be filmed with IMAX cameras.

“No Time to Die, which was the only movie released last year to have sequences shot with IMAX Film Cameras, captured the attention of both critics and audiences alike when it was first released globally in theaters last fall, eventually becoming one of the biggest films of 2021,” explained MGM’s Motion Picture Chairman Michael De Luca.

“What better way to celebrate 007 turning 60 than to offer fans an opportunity to experience the film again in the most immersive theatrical environment.”

Fukunaga added: “Shooting on 15 perf – IMAX film is the pinnacle of large format filmmaking – there is nothing out there to compare it to, not even the highest resolution digital cameras can render the colour detail and breadth of those massive negative frames; I was excited beyond belief to be the first Bond director to work with these cameras and honoured we could give Daniel’s fifth Bond the sendoff he deserved, and audiences the maximum theatrical ride.”When will No Time to Die be released on DVD and Blu-ray?

The new 007 blockbuster came out on Blu-ray and DVD on 20th December 2021, meaning Bond fans could get their hands on one just in time for Christmas.

The movie is also available in the form of a limited edition 4K Ultra HD steelbook featuring James Bond driving his suave bulletproof DB5 on its cover.

Collectors can get their hands on the item, which is exclusive to Zavvi, for £29.99.When will No Time to Die be available to stream online in the UK?

No Time to Die is now available to rent on digital platforms such as Apple TV, Amazon Prime Video, Sky Store and other online film retailers.

For the majority of services, you have 30 days to watch the film but once you have started it will expire in 48 hours.

On Apple TV, the iTunes extras will not be available with the rental as these only come with purchased HD films.

No Time to Die hit US platforms for digital rental on Tuesday 9th November 2021, meaning the film is now available to buy or rent on Amazon, Apple, Vudu, Spectrum, Xfinity and DirecTV in the United States.

Given the film is a final farewell to Daniel Craig, it’s unsurprising that the movie holds the record for the longest Bond film with its epic runtime, so viewers may be happier to sit through the 163-minute blockbuster in their own homes rather than going to their local cinema.

While production on Bond’s swan song came to a close in October 2019, numerous release delays as a result of the global pandemic left fans fearing that Craig’s final mission as 007 would never see the light of day.

Thankfully, Bond fans flocked to cinemas as the high-octane film came to the big screen on September 30, 2021, and October 8, 2021, in the UK and US respectively.
