100% agree that the last few seasons of Ray Donovan tailed off pretty difficult. So clearly I had low expectancies for a Ray Donovan film, especially after how awful The Many Saints of Newark was (my opinion). That said, in contrast to Many Saints, I concept the flashbacks helped tie up a lot of loose ends and did a pleasing process of telling the tale of why Ray hated Mickey a lot. Yes, the movie starts offevolved a bit sluggish, with a few really long, pointless driving scenes with Ray. But usual, compared to lots of the other films that wrap up an prolonged collection, I thought this became one of the first-class.
