Jed Mercurio Says It Is “now Not Completely Clear” If There Can Be A Line Of Duty Collection 7
The 6th series of Line of Duty is just across the nook, which means we’re going to eventually find out who the elusive “H” is. Or will we?
In an interview inside the state-of-the-art issue of Radio Times, series writer Jed Mercurio opened up approximately the possibility of extra Line of Duty beyond the approaching collection.
“We’re in a situation where it’s not absolutely clear that there can be a seventh collection,” Mercurio discovered. “We might wish there will be. But we’re having to do our planning coming out of COVID, and a whole bunch of other things across the concept that these things aren’t guaranteed at all now.”
He introduced: “Since possibly season 4, we’ve been speakme to the BBC approximately the realistic sturdiness of the series. I’ve experienced broadcasters pulling the plug at the same time as we had been nevertheless growing a storyline –Bodies and Cardiac Arrest each ended in advance at the BBC. So it’s an ongoing dialogue, is all I can say. A lot of it depends on the key creatives – me and the principle actors – finding new memories to tell inside that universe.”
It positive seems like series six will now not be the final time we see the Line of Duty solid head into that aggravating interrogation room. As it seems, this may imply the imminent season won’t remedy the display’s largest thriller.
“Without a proper fee, I would say conversations were very reassuring from the point of view of not having to wrap things up,” Mercurio stated.
