Cube Entertainment Announces CLC Officially Disbanding, Here’s The Full Statement


Rumors Of The Disbandment Of The CLC Group Seem To Have Come True, The Girl Group’s Agency Cube Entertainment Gave An Official Statement Regarding The Continuation Of This Group Which Made Fans Even More Sad.

The Cube Entertainment agency announced that the girl group under its auspices, CLC , has officially disbanded. The statement delivered on Friday (20/5), revealed that CLC would disband on June 6, 2022.

“First, we would like to sincerely thank our fans for their unwavering love and support for CLC over the past 7 years. Because CLC’s official activities have ended on June 6, 2022,” said a Cube Entertainment representative.

Next the agency announced their detailed schedule to reveal that CLC will maintain the group’s online uploads for a period of time. Despite being declared disbanded, this is an effort for fans and members to keep the memories they have made together.

“We plan to allow you to read posts for a certain period of time so you can cherish the precious memories made with CLC members. For more details, please see the following,” said the agency.

“Changes and Termination of CLC U CUBE Operations . ‘Termination Date: June 6, 2022 (Monday)’, please understand that you will not be allowed to access CLC U CUBE after the date stated above,” said the agency.

“Secondly, the period is available on June 5, 2022 (Sunday). You can read posts and download data in each newsletter. You will not be allowed to write new posts and comments after this announcement. We would like to express our sincere appreciation to you for your love and support. You to CLC. We will really cheer on each of the seven members as they make a new start on their own path. Thank you,” the agency said in detailing their statement.

Previously on March 18, Cube Entertainment shared that Seungyeon and Yeeun will be leaving the agency after their contracts expire. They are the third and fourth members to leave the group, following Elkie in February 2021 and Sorn in November 2021.

Meanwhile, CLC made their debut on March 19, 2015 with “First Love” and the title song “Pepe”. Now, the former group members will continue their individual careers like Choi Yujin who is known to have re-debuted with the girl group Kep1er and continues to receive a lot of love from fans.
