Aladdin’s Review
Aladdin Chart (80/100)
Aladdin is a film published by Disney. As a film giant today, all Disney films have no doubt about the quality of the graphics.
Just look at the film Beauty and the Beast and Jungle Book which got the first chance to become a Disney live-action film.
Even so, not all Disney movies have good Graphics or CGI. Will Smith’s style as a Genie is quite fun. But its blue appearance with the help of CGI might be a little annoying.
The CGI technology used may be the only drawback in this film.
Aladdin Characters (90/100)
Will Smith took a heavy toll when it was first announced he would be playing the Genie in the live action Aladdin. This is of course because of the shadow of Robin Williams, who previously successfully played the Genie character so stunningly.
A lot of negative feedback emerged after the teaser and the first trailer was released featuring Will Smith as Genie. Disney fans don’t seem sure if Smith will succeed in playing the Genie in Aladdin.
In an interview, Smith said that he realized he could not replace let alone compete with Robin Williams. But he will give a special touch with the hip-hop that has become his trademark.
This touch worked and Smith managed to bring a fresh Genie to Disney’s new audience.
Aladdin Storyline (85/100)
As we already know, this film is a remake of the cartoon version that was released in 1992.
Nonetheless, this Guy Ritchie-directed film doesn’t completely emulate the version.
Aladdin added some characters that were not previously in the cartoon version. In addition, the storyline was made a little different even though it still uses the same core story from the previous film version.
Aladdin’s Music (85/100)
The musical elements in this film are quite interesting. All of Aladdin’s songs or soundtracks were rearranged and managed to give new energy to this film without leaving the elements that existed in the original film.

Overall, the live-action Aladdin film and Will Smith’s performance as the Genie aren’t as bad as the initial fan reviews. The film, directed by Guy Ritchie, can still be said to be an entertaining film and has many moral messages contained in it.
Well, this is the Aladdin review that we can give, of course we try to be as economical as possible to provide spoilers. Once again we emphasize, this is the author’s judgment after watching the film.
Directed by Guy Ritchie, Aladdin stars Mena Massoud, with Naomi Scott as Princess Jasmine, Will Smith as Genie, Marwan Kenzari as Jafar, Navid Negahban as Sultan, Nasim Pedrad as Dalia, Billy Magnussen as Prince Anders and Numan Acar as Hakim.
