Appearance for an artist certainly requires hard work and totality. Even in an unhealthy state, an artist as much as possible to endure the pain when on stage and put on a cheerful face.
And this seems to be the case for Sunmi as well, where she handles her appearance in a simple way. Sunmi revealed that she covered her bruises around her legs by using a concealer, a make-up product.
Sunmi appeared on the KBS TV show ” Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook ” on the July 9 episode. Other guest stars, namely Kim Jong Kook , KCM , Rothy and Bada , also enlivened the music event.
After Sunmi performed a medley of her own hit songs, Yoo Hee Yeol touched on how the solo singer had an always iconic choreographer. Considering that the choreography is quite intense and fast, Yoo Hee Yeol is curious as to how Sunmi will cope with her knee which could be injured.
“One of the great things is that the choreography is very intense. And you also sing live. However, one of the sad things is are your knees okay? That’s how I feel,” asked Yoo Hee Yeol.
“I covered it with a little concealer (cosmetic). Actually, I didn’t hide it. Recently, some articles felt sorry for me. But it didn’t hurt too much. I just bruised easily,” said Sunmi confessed.
When Yoo Hee Yeol shouted, “He’s always bruised,” he received a response from the audience, who shouted at the same time regretful. Therefore, Sunmi tried to give a reassuring statement regarding her pain.
“Especially, there are a lot of dance moves where you use your knees on the floor. You’re a professional singer,” Yoo Hee Yeol praised the solo singer of this one.
Meanwhile, recently Sunmi has released her new song titled “Heart Burn”. In that solo comeback, the former Wonder Girls member has an eccentric appearance with long and peacock hair color, making it his trademark.
