Recently Chaeryeong appeared on the Youtube entertainment program “My Alcohol Diary” on July 22 yesterday. On this occasion, the ITZY girl group member talked about the figure who had made him give up on debuting as an idol.

“I really care about other people’s attention. It wasn’t like this when I was young. I used to think that I was the prettiest when I was in elementary school. But that confidence went down while preparing for my debut,” said Chaeryeong.

In response, Lee Young Ji asked, “Is there a special event?”. Chaeryeong said, ‚ÄúThere are many. There were even people who tried to stop me from debuting. There are always some people like that. I always try to think of other people first. I’m very careful with my reactions but such actions look sarcastic to others,” he added and revealed how he was hurt by malicious comments.

Chaeryeong then added, “I don’t care” and Lee Young-Ji advised her “It doesn’t matter if you care. You can care, of course, because we are humans, not AI or monsters. But know that you are an extraordinary person.”
