Joo Jin-mo’s wife, the late Ahn Bong-hee, passed away on the same day due to chronic illness. It is known that Joo Jin-mo could not hide her ecstasy and greeted her mourners while guarding the mortuary in her sorrow. Her mortuary was set up in room 205 on the second floor of the funeral hall of Korea University Anam Hospital in Seoul. Her funeral will be strictly observed at 1:30 pm on the 11th. Her burial place is Seoul Memorial Park.

Joo Jin-mo made his full-fledged debut as an actor in 1983 with the play ‘The Architect and the Assari Emperor’. From 1987 to 1995, she served as a member of the National Theater Company, and in 1996, she expanded her activities to the screen through the film ‘Student Vice Admiral’.
