YG Entertainment and Korean Air announced on the 15th that they had signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to build a strategic partnership at Korean Air’s headquarters in Gangseo-gu, Seoul.
The signing ceremony was attended by Hwang Bo-kyung, co-CEO of YG Entertainment, Jeong Chi-young, Vice President of Performance Business Group, and Jang Seong-hyun, Vice President of Marketing and IT Division of Korean Air.
As part of this business agreement, the two companies will provide a special welcome video in which BLACKPINK appears directly on board Korean Air.
In addition, Korean Air will participate as an official sponsor of the ongoing BLACKPINK world tour.
Korean Air provides discount tickets and free additional baggage for artists and staff participating in the BLACKPINK world tour until August this year.
YG Entertainment plans to provide promotional concert tickets, signed CDs, and posters to Korean Air SKYPASS members.
