Disney+ Looks Set To Release Only THREE Marvel Studios TV … – CBM (Comic Book Movie)

Following a chaotic Phase 4, rumour has it Marvel Studios will focus on quality over quantity in the years ahead. That may mean the delay or cancellation of several upcoming projects, with some TV shows becoming Marvel Studios Special Presentations instead.
Now, a Disney+ Japan blog post suggests we'll get only three live-action MCU TV shows on the streaming platform in 2023.
Those are Secret Invasion, Loki season 2, and Ironheart, with no mention of Echo or Agatha: Coven of Chaos. There was always a chance the latter would slip into 2024, but this appears to confirm that Echo, a spin-off of Hawkeye, has also moved much further down the calendar.
Disney+ never announces premiere dates too far in advance, though, and we know the animated What If…? season 2 and X-Men '97 are also on the way in 2023.
This also doesn't account for any secret Special Presentations as neither Werewolf by Night nor The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special were announced all that long before they actually premiered. Still, three TV shows feel like a good number, though as we also had three in 2022, it's not as if this is a dramatic reduction.
It is, however, at least a couple less than we expected!
That could be an indication Marvel Studios really is focusing on getting the content they release right, and we wouldn't be shocked if next year sees the release of an updated slate with pretty much everything then coming later than expected. If that means The Multiverse Saga benefits, so be it!
Looking to the future, there are lots of reasons to be excited about what the MCU has in store for us, and not even a hit-and-miss Phase 4 can lessen our excitement.
